Balance…what the heck is that? I haven’t had balance in years; maybe that is why I’m so stressed. I need balance BAD! I tell my family this all the time. Family time is critical because the kids are getting older and I won’t have the time again. We discussed as a family on New Years about spending more time as a family and doing, at least, ONE family event per month. My teenager never wants to do anything with us, so we got him to commit to one day so that was progress.
I try to stop blogging at 7 pm so I can spend the night with my family. I know I can get a lot done when everyone goes to bed but by that time I’m dead tired too. I do get up 2 hours before everyone to get some things done before getting kids ready for school. That is all I balance, so the rest of the day is so chaotic and all over the place.
I work as a waitress on the weekends so I don’t like to work on the blog on the weekends, but sometimes I have too, and then my family gets all upset with me. I need to learn sometimes you need to sit back and reflect then you can move forward with a clearer mind. I lived in chaos last year and this year I don’t want too!
I have a PLANNER this year, and I hope this helps me keep on track. My plan is I want to spend Sunday evening planning my week and inputting all the info into my planner than reminders in my phone. Focus is my main word in both LIFE and WORK.
